Cet avis rappelle que les organismes de certification sont autorisés à délivrer des certificats de conformité de produit (PCoC) selon la version précédente du règlement technique jusqu'au 14 février 2021.

SASO a annoncé les améliorations suivantes à la plateforme SABER :

• L'inscription peut désormais se faire en trois (3) étapes.

• Le système d'étiquetage de l'efficacité énergétique a été intégré au certificat IECEE sur la plateforme SABER. Cela permettra au système d'extraire la marque et les modèles sous licence du système d'étiquetage de l'efficacité énergétique lors de l'enregistrement pour le certificat IECEE. Les certificats IECEE délivrés avant l'intégration recevront un message d'alerte pour ajouter les modèles au certificat IECEE avant de les inclure dans le certificat de conformité de l'expédition.

• Ajout de nouvelles méthodes de paiement en plus de la méthode de paiement précédente (SADDAD) telles que VISA, MasterCard, Mada et Apple Pay.

Le 17 février 2021, la SASO a annoncé que les organismes de certification (OC) ne pouvaient plus délivrer de certificats de conformité de produits (CCP) pour les citernes utilisées pour le transport de produits pétroliers. La SASO est la seule entité qui peut délivrer des COC pour ces produits. Ce changement a une incidence sur les règlements techniques suivants :

• Règlement technique des citernes - Partie 1 : Citernes destinées au transport de produits pétroliers

• Règlement technique relatif aux barrières avant, arrière et latérales pour camions et remorques

• Règlement technique pour les remorques et semi-remorques

SASO a annoncé qu'elle autorisera l'utilisation des normes SASO GSO IEC-60950-1:2012, SASO IEC-60065:2020 et SASO IEC-62368-1:2017 jusqu'au 30 juin 2021. À compter du 1er juillet 2021, la SASO n'acceptera que la norme SASO IEC-62368-1:2020. Tout certificat IECEE de la SASO délivré entre le 1er juillet 2020 et le 30 juin 2021 sera valide pour un (1) an.

Précédemment, la SASO a annoncé qu'elle étendrait à cinq (5) ans la période de validité des rapports d'essai d'efficacité énergétique (EER) pour certains produits connexes. À partir de janvier 2021, les produits concernés par cette exemption devront revenir à la période de validité initiale du rapport d'essai.
